[Wing IDE Support]

The experimental scripting api in 2.0 will allow a python function to be 
run for a particular file and to display a dialog to collect 
information, so it will be possible to set up commands to update, 
commit, etc.  It currently does not allow existing tools in the IDE 
(such as the project tree) to be easily modified or replaced; support 
for that will be added in the future.
