All,
Samuel Klein is working to put together a Bid for having PyCon be hosted
in Boston for 2008/2009.
The bids will be presented at PyCon07 this Febuary 23rd. We are looking for
volunteers to help
with some of the logistics of putting together a bid.

This includes contacting hotels to request information, and just making your
voice heard.

Part of the bid requirements includes the following:

> Volunteers
>
> Some parts of PyCon organization can be done remotely, but having local
volunteers is vital to the conference's success. Volunteers can:
>
> * Explore locations before the conference.
> * Receive deliveries in the weeks before the conference.
> * Run the registration desk.
> * Help advertise the conference locally at schools, user groups.
> * Help prepare the conference rooms, wireless networking, badges,
conference tote bags, etc.
>
> Does your location have a pool of volunteer labour?

We need to show that Boston has such a pool of people.
