Greetings from Nate and the Jazkarta team!
Plone Conference 2006 is in Seattle, And You're Invited!
We're proud to share the news that the fourth annual gathering of the
worldwide Plone user and developer community, Plone Conference 2006,
is going to be in Seattle this year (after the last two years in
Austria). Nate Aune from Jazkarta is going to be presenting and
assisting with the post-conf developer sprint.
If you're using Plone to run your website -- or are just thinking
about it -- this is a golden opportunity to connect with the Plone
community, hear about how nonprofits (and others!) from around the
world are using Plone, and drink in knowledge from some of the
world's leading Plone consultants.
Among the 45 sessions and workshops that we think non-profit groups
might be particularly interested in are:
Why Plone? - Confessions of an NGO - Andrew Hatton, Oxfam GB
100 Hours or Less: Creating a scope of work for a simple Plone
website - Patrick Shaw, NPower Seattle
Case study panel: Plone and Nonprofits - Andrew Hatton, Oxfam GB
Multimedia and Podcasting with Plone - Nate Aune, Jazkarta.com
Open Sourcing Activism: The Open Planning Project and Plone -
Jacqueline Arasi, The Open Planning Project
Plone and Accessibility: A case study on lowering the barriers to
information access - Aaron VanDerlip, Netcorps
